good article. I have to agree with the conclusion, I'm keeping mine too. One thing I read over and over again was the appearance of the axim. It is a nice looking devise, I don't why some reviewers harped upon the looks of it. It has a nice colour and shape.

Going to back to the review, he or she mentions "Yeah, it's heavy (7oz on my salad scale), but only uncomfortably so when using it for e-reading for extended amounts of time one handed (2+hours)". I think anything would feel heavy holding it with one hand for over two hours. Just my observation.

thanks guys.

paulg1957,

First off....I'm a HE :D

I rarely read meatspace rags and books anymore, so two hours reading one handed is the norm for me on any given day (albeit not in ONLY one hand for the entire time). Coming from a Palm device (Visor Deluxe) the Axim seems quite a bit heavier, but my feeble wrists are responding to the new daily regimine ;)

exercise is good and holding it will strengthen the wrist and help fight the risk of carpal tunnel syndrome. :D

what books do you read and where do you find them?

Paulg,

Sorry for the late reply,
PDA Avenue has since lost their database (and my review ) and decided to start a-fresh.

ebooks,

Right now I'm still sloshing through pulps from Blackmask Online. They have the (almost) complete (and legal) collections of "The Shadow", "Doc Savage" and "The Avenger" in multiple formats.
Using iSilo the most of late.
