Probably not. What is the status of your backup battery? That should have held the data for quite a while. backup backup backup. Can't stress that enough.

The battery is probably dead. You will need a new one for that, but they are not real pricy. I know what it means to lose data. Trying to save space in the main system, I removed some files out of the windows folder that are not used, unless I would want to uninstall. some htm files and etc and put them in a folder on the CF disk. I did all back ups , but I guess when syncing it erased that folder cause I cannot find it at all, even in the back ups. If I see a problem I will do this all over, but save that folder by itself. Proper back up is a must.

You need to buy a new backup batt., then charge your main batt., Then do a backup of everything and have fun.

I did the same thing, lost data and programs. My question is how do I regain use of programs that I had saved to the SD memory. For instance I saved FlexWallet to SD. I can see it there but no icon appears on the start menu. I tried downloading it again from my laptop but they don't share info with each other.

Try using the file explorer to create a shortcut. Find the file on the SD card tap and hold, go to copy, then find the start menu and paste shortcut.
