Student Software

Anyone know any good student software? (Other than 4.0 Student which has had bad reviews by some people on here)

Software that has applications/uses for students such as grade tracking, assignment tracking, schedule, expenses, stuff like that all in one and in a easy to use interface

I really like 4.0 Student ... I think it works fine for me (Junior in High School) .... I dunno what people could find wrong with it, but maybe I should also try The Dog Ate it ...

I think it is, but looking at Dog Ate It, it has a better interface.

for those who've used it, do you find that student software is worth the money? through 2 years at university, i've been using a few spreadsheets, ms money, and outlook to keep going, and it seems to be alright so far...

4.0 Student is too tedious and of so little help I don't know why anyone would use it.

I spent two weeks futzing around with it, only to realize it had way limited usefulness. Not much better than writing stuff down in Outlook in my opinion.

:bang: :bang:

Wouldn't have minded having something like The Dog Ate It while I was in school....and it was only a few years ago!!! Of course, I wouldn't have minded having my Ax while I was in school period!!

All I had was my old P-II 233 system. I don't know how I managed to get through!!! :D

I've used 4.0Student for two quarters straight, and I love it. Other than the weird default grading policy (90% is a B+?!), which you can change by hand, it's pretty accurate. It's basically a replacement for your assignment notebook, syllabus, and grade tracker.

is there a way to keep multiple task lists on my axim? as a student, one of the biggest problems i have is working with just one task list. if i could keep multiple ones, eg one for each course and one for other to-dos, it would be very, very helpful.

if this features isn't on ppc, do any of you know of a program that adds just this? it's a small thing, and i don't know if it warrants having to buy a whole student suite.
