Dell serial cable obtain!

Well, i got the Axim serial cable i think before anyone, it also has a small box inline like i thought it would. Now i am waiting for the motorola Nextel universal pda adapter to connect the cell phone to the Axim. One problem i still can get the correct dialing order for the phone number which is S=2 and thats it. Well, if you don't put anything in those areas, country code, area code it will not let you go to next step without anything in those places so, does anyone know how i would get Axim just to dial s=2 to get on Nextels packdata network? Someone told me i could disable it but don't know how to.
Yes there has to be a way right but how. Soon i will be able to try this setup but, until i can i need to solve the dialing out problem.
