I'm new to PPC and Axim, but relatively comfortable with it. The only thing I haven't been able to figure out is how to have the alarm NOT go ring or illuminate at midnight. I have all the alarms turned off, but it still does its thing at midnight, every night. If this helps, I'm using Agenda Fusion. Any ideas?

Start->Settings->System->Clock->Alarms. I would double check to make sure there are no checkmarks in any of the boxes.

I would also double check Agenda Fusion to see if you have any reoccuring tasks, events, or alarm notes that were accidently set with the wrong time (I guess in this case it would be midnight).

Perhaps a soft reset might help. Don't fret, if all else fails (and I do mean all else), you could always hard reset. If you do have to go that far, before you start to reinstall anything, I would change the time to 11:59 pm, then see if the alarm still sounds. I can't imagine it would do this after a hard reset.

Good luck.

I noticed and I think this was the only time I was up at midnight that the axim went on, there was a chime, but it went off just as quickly.

I checked the clock and there is no reference to an alarm for midnight. Mind you, it wasn't really an alarm, since I have used that feature on certain mornings.

I was told that all Pocket PCs automatically turn on at midnight to do cleanup and new-day tasks (like changing the current date).

Not sure if it's true or not, but based on observation, it seems reasonable.

I've never noticed mine to come on at midnight by itself.

I'm going to have to stay up tonight to see if mine comes on. Of course, I could just change the time to 11:58, wait a couple minutes and see, but where's the fun in that!!!! :P

sounds like a plausible explanation. It was midnight and it was momentary. sure, I'll accept it.
