A huge thank you to all who contribute your time and talent to this forum!
As a newbie who has been stuck at home with a non-life threatening illness for a week now and plenty of time to experiment with the Axim5, I gotta tell you you guys I'm amazed by the thoughtful and insightful comments and suggestions you make.
With your help, I've learned a great deal and I am feeling much more comfortable with this technology. In about a week I've managed to:
1. Figure out how to setup a WCF12 and do away with the USB cradle, except for charging the batteries of course.
2. Turn on XP Pro Remote Sharing and connect to my desktop from the Pocket PC using Terminal Services. Great way to get to Outlook Express mail and more importantly; to me, the ability to print to a non-networkable USB printer.
This is just the tip of the iceberg in what you've helped me accomplish in a short time.
I have seen some recurring themes like WiFi and other hardware issues that I hope to be able to help others with in the future.
The kindness of strangers never ceases to amaze me.
Best Regards,
Gary
