I installed the Resco Picture Viewer program from the Dell CD, but the pictures taken by my 3.2MP camera don't display very clearly at all... I've tried changing the settings of the program with no luck... what kind of experience have others had with the picture viewer? The images are so choppy that viewing them on my axim is pretty worthless... i'm better off just keeping my dig. cam. handy and viewing on that lcd screen...

Picture Viewer rocks.

Are you trying to view the original huge 3.2MP images?!
You should size your pictures down to 320x240 -- they're look sharper and load a helluva lot faster.

You can accomplish this through batch jobs in Photoshop, or use the highly recommended IrfanView freeware for your desktop to do batch resizing (and much more).

It's a good program. I've downloaded some photos I've taken and some I've got off the net. All of them look good. I like the fact that I can fill the screen with the photo.

under the settings > in memory optmization> set it to "Load photos in original size" if you don't always want to resize them in 240x320. looks great, I thought the same when i first used it (default settings)
