If I have my switcher bar enabled & then turn my Axim off, when I turn it back on, only the battery part of the switcher bar shows. If I click on the other spots next to it that are blank then half of the graphic shows up. The only way to fix it is too close the bar & then re-open it. Has anyone else had this prob?

Thanks!

I too seem to be having problems with the Dell switcher bar. Whenever, I close a program with it, I get an error message that the program is not responding. I can then click OK or Cancel and there does not seem to be any problem, but the message sure is annoying.

I stopped using the Dell switcher bar and started using Rescoe's switcher bar. It seems to work fine.

I have this problem as well. I agree that it is more annoying than anything else. Sure would appreciate it if you could provide link or website for Rescoe switcher bar.

I also hated that as well. But to overcome this problem just go into windows\shortcut\system and copy the file Switcher Bar.lnk to windows\startup and it will be there everytime you turn on your Axim! Hope this helps!

The Rescoe switcher bar is available on the Rescoe web site at:

Rescoe

It is also available through

Handango

I bought the entire Explorer utility package and the switcher program came as part of that. If you are not familiar with Rescoe Explorer, you might want to check it out as well. Great product and apparently a best seller.

Battery Pack is a pretty good program too. Have been using it for a while and really like it, much better than switcher bar

Pocket Facelift gives you a switcher-bar type utility, along with an "X" in the upper right hand corner that actually closes programs. It has cascading start menu (just like windows), and a whole slew of other goodies. I haven't used the Dell Switcher Bar since installing Pocket Facelift.

This is a little off-topic, but dts mentioned Rescoe Explorer. This is a MUST HAVE program. The file explorer that comes with PPC2002 is...., well, to say the least... lacking. :P I would highly recommend Rescoe File Explorer for everyone.
