Well, i finially got it to work as i thought, for this is setup first you have to either have packet stream gold or less or dial up(which only changes the phone number that you get from nextel and a Isp. With packet stream you don't need access numbers you just log on to Nextels network with s=2 and start your browser.(its rated at 56k but not in real world its 30k compressed data packets.

Ok this is what you need first a Nextel plus phone and its assoicated serial cable (35 bucks) Dell serial syc cable (27 bucks) and Radio shacks Null modem adapter and 1 gender changer for (12 bucks)

Connect them all together and plug each in the units. Make sure the Nextel phone is on and in green flashing.

Use the generic Haynes modem already installed when you go to network settings and set phone number to S=2 the area code you could just put zeros in there, for some reason the Axim puts other things before the S=2 and dials out like 0,(0) s=3 but it still works with nexel phone and connects to the packet network in about 10 seconds however active syc trys also to connect to nextel phone thinks its another computer so that give some error but Axim does connect in background and you will see the two arrows showing a connection was made as well as it say connected.

Well finially my wait is over, and the sales Rep at Dell want me to call him back to tell him if my setup worked, So Dell if you read this it worked though now i have a long cable which makes taking it with you a bit strained, Please if anyone has contact with their Engineers, ask why there is no usb host in Axim so i could have just used a simple usp mini connector to do the same thing.
I intend to build a short small one myself by cutting the dell cable and directly connecting it to a cut Nextel cable, i need to somehow rewire the cable to a null modem so i can eliminate the adapters and some wire to make it more compact, the diagram is on back of Radio shack null modem part. And you can buy the raw serial connectors there too.

Anyquestion please contact me
