So what is the conclusion on GOOD SD cards?
Hi-
I first made the mistake of buying a type of Sandisk SD card (though the brand was different I found out it was the same company) and after weeks of phone calls trying to return the thing I was able to. Now I want to buy another SD card and I want to know what brand to get. From what I read Simpletech and Lexar are the best I think. Is that true? Has anyone had any problems with these and their axims? Thanks! I just don't want to get into a situation of having a bad card again.

I am one, of the few here, that has had no troubles with Sandisk cards......
I hear that every brand can have trouble, but I have yet to encounter any.

I haven't heard of a Simple Tech or Panasonic SD cards going bad, for the "ultimate" guide for SD card info go to...
http://freespace.virgin.net/jon.crawford/index.htm
P.S. - All Sandisk SD cards except the "N" series will fail eventually, so if you have one, back up often. (.... I don't care how long you have had it, it may take 3, 6, 12, months but it will fail...)

I purchased a PNY 256 SD card after having problems with my Sandisk 256 SD. Had it about a month. No problems so far.

Had a Sandisk 256 SD card since day one in my axim and switched it around many times between mine and my wife's axims. Never had a single problem - it has been about 5 - 6 months I think. But I did hear that a lot of people had problems with Sandisk cards.

Had multiple SanDisk cards fail. I'm now using Lexar and Kensington and have had ZERO problems with either of them.

Anyone have opinions on the Crucial cards? For business and home pc usage Crucial has always been great. Now what about for PDA/PPC's?

After three days, it works great !!!!!
