What is a good screen protector to get that will last me awhile and dont have to worry about scratches and bubbles, and dust onder the screen. I do not want to get those screens that you stick on the screen. What brand to get, what pricing i should expect, and how durable and how the screen looks with them on vs. them off and if the screen protector gets hazzy over time? Thanxs again everyone!!! i will ASK AS MANY stupid questions as I CAN until i get my AXIM :)

Like most people will probably tell you, the WriteShields are the best. The are semi-sticky and semi-static cling. They are reusable. If you get dust in between them and the screen, you just use tape to clean it off. They are $29 plus shipping, but if you use PocketPCpassion as your coupon code you will receiv 10% off.

Hands down WriteShields, they last about forever so I'd say get the lowest priced offered. I think it has 3 screens. :)

I have WriteShields also and they're working great. They just cling to your screen, no sticky residue to worry about. Like Raynne413 said, they're reusable (not use once and toss away like other brands) and you can easily clean them with scotch tape. :D

I decided to try printing the screen protector Word document template for tranparencies before I bought any of the other products. It works well, I have heard they wear out quickly, and they are by no means anti-glare, but I am pleased for now. If you have any transparencies (which belong in a museum next to carbon paper now) try it out.

Thus far, I cast my vote for the G2. Go to the site "the gadgeteer", sorry don't have the exact address.

They seem to have tested just about everything and have detailed reviews of them all. Seems if you do not want a milky (glare reducing) protector you go with the G2, if you do want glare reduction then you go with writeshields.

Both are supposedly A-1 but for different tastes.

I chose the G2 as the reviewer was exactly like me, that is wanted a surface that looked and felt exactly like the original screen -- a trade off with the anti-glare.

Good luck

I've been using a template that someone posted on another site. I print out the template on some nice 3M Transparencies and away I go...

180 protectors (20 sheets x 9) at $15 CDN....can't beat that...

Write Shields, although expensive, are the best. I use them and they are great.
