Hello to all. As part of an office upgrade, all our laptopes were switched to Office XP. As a result, I'm now running Outlook 2002 instead of Outlook 2000. Since this occurred, the only category that synchs is "Notes". All others indicate that they need "Resolved". The X5 is connecting fine and works fine, it just won't synch with Calendars, Contacts, or Tasks.
I did a "soft reset", but still no luck.
Any and all help will be appreciated.
Thanks in advance and best regards to all,
Morey G

On your notebook go to:
activesync/tools/option/sync options
and check the appropriate boxes

You can also try unchecking all the boxes, reboot the Desktop and soft reset the Axim, then reconnect, open activesync and check all the boxes you want synced. I use 2002 with XP just fine, so it wil work.

While on the subject of Outlook 2002, is it worthwhile to upgrade to from Outlook 2000? Also, I would like to be able to use a subfolder in Outlook 2000, It is just easier for me to import all of our Field reps into a subfolder than into the general contacts - mainly because I would like them to be categorised and I can't think of a way to make a Category a default category. I would be updating this list on a monthly basis and do not want to edit the category manually.
Thanks B)

On the topic of Outlook. Before installing the Outlook that came with the AXIM, I had HTML turned off on received mail. Now all I can find is how to turn it off when sending mail. Where did Microsoft hide the "turn off html" button?
