New to PDA's

I purchased this Axim X5 on ebay and received it 2 days ago and i am unalbe to install a program that requires the installation of Microsoft.NET CF 2.0.

I am running ActiveSync 4.5 on my XP desktop PC. When i try to install .NET 2.0
i get the following error message on the X5 :

"SETUP FAILD" " The file "\Windows\Appmgr\Install\Microsoft.NET CD 2.0\CAB" is not a valid Windows CE setup file.


I'm not sure what my X5 is running ( Pocket PC 2002 or Windows Mobile 2003 ) but here is what is listed in the setting "Microsoft Pocket PC Version 3.011171 ( build 11178) "

Issue solved:

It is a requirement that you must be running MS ActiveSync 4.2 or higher ( i'm new to all this ) but they didn't say if that was on the pc side or PDA side. My X5 was running Pocket PC 2002 and it uses ActiveSync
3.7 so i upgraded to Windows Mobile 2003 that must be running a newer version of ActiveSync as my error messages are gone now. I was running ActiveSync 4.5 on the PC side but that doesn't make a difference apparently. I wasn't able to tell what version of ActiveSync i was running on the PDA but did a search on the net for the specs and wala...
