just how many dell axims did dell ship?

Found this little tidbit of info at

they are saying theres a sales slump in pdas..
Wouldn't know it the way the axims sold..

"Dell Computer Corp., which stirred the handheld computer market late in the year with the introduction of its first line of PDAs, shipped 54,000, according to the study. "

so assuming thats in one month.. 50,000 per month = 600,000 a year??
we will find out next year =)
