New 2200 mA battery for my X5

I just ordered a new 2200 mA battery for my X5 from Lion Battery.
I found that and the 3000 something battery on their site, but none were available. I e-mailed Lion Battery, and their found a few and put them up on the site.

So, if anyone with an X5 and in need of a battery, here they are!

The original Dell is a 1440 mA,
I believe the 2200 mA is the same size, and the 3000 something one I think is bigger.

The 2200 is about $24 or $25 (US) with shipping.

I just ordered it yesterday, and hope to have it in a week to extend the life of my Axim daily use.

I have my original Dell Axim battery, it is just over 4 years old, and recently won't last long (after about 10 minutes of use, it falls from 100% to 20%).
The other battery is also a Dell, and I've had that for about 2 years, and it usually lasts all day at work listening to podcasts and a little with the screen on.

Thanks for the heads-up!

My original battery has been showing signs of detioration like you describe. It will show fully charged, but within moments of unplugging from a power source it drops to 59% and then quickly falls to 20%. Guess it's time to get a new and bigger battery.

My battery is still going strong considering I had it for almost 4 years now (In october it will be 4 years). But thanks it is definetly something I am interesting in getting. Now that I have a bluetooth card, I have been using a lot more power anyway. Oh yeah give us impressions too. Thanks! I also want to know if it does fit as good as the Dell and if it adds any noticeable weight. Glad there are still X5 users out here. :)

Hey, now that you've had some time with this battery, how is it? And how much larger than the standard is it?

Right now they are out of stock. I emailed them and they said within 2 weeks they will get another shipment. If I check them in time I will buy one and post here when they are available.

My wife and I both have the X5. I acquired the larger battery for both also. The larger battery works for about a week and a half with regular use. I use mine for work and I have quite a few games that I play. My wife mostly uses hers for the games right now. The larger battery definitly makes the X5 a little heavier, but lasts so much longer. We only charge ours when the battery gets low. I still believe you can program rechargable batteries, thats why I do that.

Enjoy your X5, I do.
