Buying software

I am still waiting for a cradle so I can synch my *new* used Dell Axim 51v and am poring over the good articles on this site. But I won't know until I can synch things if I want to keep the Axim. If I invest in some or lots of software, can I later sell the Axim with the software installed from 3rd parties? I understand that Freeware is most likely OK to include but not sure about all the good programs that Gigi has noted on her What Can I Do with my Dell Axim?

Thanks for any advice.

Usually you don't buy the software but a personal license to use the software.

Even some freeware are licensed for personal use only.

Enjoy your ax :)

if you contact the publisher of the software, request from them a license transfer.

For the most part it is no big deal.

Additionally, it is always suggested that a buyer of a used device (even a new one) do a hard reset so it gets in your hand clean.

Thanks to all for the replies, very helpful. I forgot about Licenses....ah Licenses. That's nice to know about contacting the seller re transferring the license, if need be. Thank you all.
Britta I love seeing everyone's PDAs, I don't have mine posted, the cats are saying I think there is a spy among us (the little Pomeranian? dog on left).
