You can only upgrade to WM2003, which is no longer sold by Dell but readily available on Ebay, etc. (although most likely illegal copies). If your only reason for upgrading is for a more functional browser, try Opera or Netfront.

BTW, welcome to the site!

I just downloaded firefox to my X5, but I haven't had a chance to play with it yet. I hope it works. I also just downloaded the Opera trial on my X51. But I don't want to pay for it-- I like free better. :)

Well I might need to try something else on the X5, the Firefox is glitching on it. Maybe Opera would work better on the X5.
We'll see.

Opera seems to be the fastest and most stable mobile browsers, I used it on my SDA and am using it on my Blackberry, it is pretty fast and comes with bunch of cool tools/bookmarks..

I am trying it on my X51 now. It is okay, but I don't like how it does forums. The threads are lined up weird. There is probably a way to amke it look like Windows, but I haven't figured it out.

MultiIE didn't seem to work very well on my X5 either. Is anyone running Opera on a X5?
I might have to go ahead and purchase it for my X5 if it is the only one that will run stable.
