x5 configuration & wireless

Hello all,

Great site, tons of info. I recently purchased a Symbol spectrum 24 wireless card. The forums said that Symbol cards work well with the Axim X5. However, after loading activesync 4+ (not sure which version) and performing a hotsync, the Symbol drivers show loading onto the Axim, but the progress bar never moves and the loading never completes. Also, when inserting the wireless card, it flashes, but of course the Axim never recognizes it. Also, I originally loaded Activesync from the Microsoft website, but do have the original dell disc, however it appears to only have outlook and activesync on it, no dell drivers. ??? What's up??

Also, I've had this Dell for 8 months, lost my power cord, stopped using it, purchased another charger cord, (ebay of course) but now the battery won't charge @ all (the power button won't light indicating charging) This worked fine before I parked the PDA for a few months. Cord or battery problem??
