Looked around for someone else with this problem, but didn't see...so I'll post.

First, I absolutely love my Axim. Very great machine. My second PDA, and definitely far more useful than the last one ever was. Dell has done another great thing!

OK, on to the problem. I have played with the synchronizing of e-mail a lot. When a new message comes in, ActiveSync automatically transfers it to the Axim. If I mark the message as read, ActiveSync tells the Axim to do the same. If I use the Axim to mark the message as read, it tells Outlook to do the same.

Here's the tricky part: If I use the Axim to move a message to Archives or delete a message, it tells Outlook to do the same.

However, if I use Outlook to do either of those things, the change is not reflected on the Axim. Meaning that I either have to archive and delete ALL messages on the Axim, OR do it twice, once for each machine. Grrr.

Any help out there??

One more thing...I did try installing the latest ActiveSync 3.6 and it didn't change anything.

I just checked...You need to make sure that the folder you are moving it to is also set to sync on your axim or else it won't move.
