Brightness Resets itself on start up

I think that I read about this with IPAQ's but it could have been here too!

Anyone noticed that the display brightness settings can reset at random?

Paul - does your brightness only change when you take the Axim off its cradle/charger? If so, then you could make the brightness the same by going to Start > Settings > Brightness. When my Axim is connected to the cradle and/or power adapter, my screen is a lot brighter than when it is running off the battery because of my brightness settings. Hope this helps ...

Also, Paul, the on/off button has two functions: on and off, plus bright/dim on the screen. If you press it quickly, it's on/off. But if you hold it down, it goes from whatever brightness to fully dim, or from fully dim to whatever was the previous brightness level. Could that be what you are seeing?
