Deleting Music files

Anybody know how to remove residue from write-protected music files which remains on my Media Player Local Content file, and believe it or not somehow got to my Excell program ? Local content is protected but would like to know how to get in there to get rid of the stuff. Also deleting write protected stuff generally. Your thoughts ?

Do a soft reset, then you should be able to delete them.
