Problem Detecting wireless networks

Hi All,
I have a X5 with a truemobile 1180 card which I have had working about 2 years ago. At that time it stopped working (Unknown card in slot 1 error) and I gave up with it:(. Just recently went wireless at home, thanks to the forums here managed to get the card working again.:approve::approve:( thanks to this forum http://www.aximsite.com/boards/x5-ha...ard-again.html)
However it wont detect any wireless networks at all (even if I put it bang next to the wireless router). the little led on the card glows orange and flashes green as if scanning for a network. (used dell cient and also a program called peekpocket) but will not find any networks.
