Leaving battery in unpowerd cradle

Hi,
Can I leay the battery in the X5 cradle when it is unpluged from the PC as wel as from the Power Supply?

I ask because I turn off my "power grid" for the night and would like to leave the secundary battery that isn't in the Axim right now in the cardle all the time.

Not generally a good practice. Most (if not all) chargers will slowly drain a battery if left unpowered. Overnight shouldn't hurt but I would think the charge would be less than 100% by morning. If you accidentally left it in the charger unpowered for an extended length it could completely drain the battery and possibly ruin it.
