HOw do you format an SD card
I dumped all the files off the 128m card I have and my axim still shows it as having 7m in use.
I can't see any files on it from either the axim or my desktop computer. Even if you click show all files, does it still have some files that it doesn't show?

You can use a program called flash format, but that wont help your problem, because that section that you cant see if actually used by the SD card for directories and being setup to work properly, its kinda a jip but all SD, CF cards are like that.

Here's an inexpensive little program for working with memory cards. StorageTools
It's freeware.

BUt when I originally installed the card it showed the full 128 megs, I added some files, and dumped them a few times wiht it showing 128m, I had to do a hard reset and after that it show I am missing 7 megs off the card.

I'll try some of the programs suggested, don't know if it woth buying a reader for though, it's only 7 m

Thanks all
