Is there a camera attachment for an Axim anyone would recommend?

Has anyone tried this one?

Also, search the forums here at Aximsite for "flycam". You'll come up with enough results to keep you busy for a while.

Purchased 10, 1.3 MP Pretec camera awhile back for a data gathering project. The project got delayed by over 6 months. It gave us time to test the cameras. The hardware and software was dissapointing. It did not have a flash, therefor a lot of pictures were dark. Trying to focus the preview pic on the Axim was almost impossible.

I tried out the Lifecam 1.3 MP with a flash. The Lifecam is much superior in quality. Surprisingly the flash is not necessary most of the times. The picture quality and software is excellant compared to the Pretec. Colour saturation and sharpness in the printouts were a pleasant surprise.

On a scale of 1-10, for overall results, I would rate the Pretec a 3. The Lifecam would be a 9 in comparison. Both are in the same price range, about $150.

Anybody want to purchase 10 Pretec Cameras? Lot bid only!

Just a note for those looking for this camera. It is actually called the FlyCam, which I was referring to earlier. It is made by LifeView.
