Question Align Screen

I had left my Axim X5 in the cradle while my son and I had gone to the state individual high school wresting tournament (a two and a half day event), and after getting back I wanted to get my messgaes from my X5. Well, apparently my grandkids were messing around with it as it appeared to be DEAD. I tried a variety things trying to get back to working to no avail. This morning, for no apparent reason, it came on with the initial Pocket PC screen and when I tapped it, the "Align Screen" screen came on. Now, I cannot get the X5 to advance off of the align screen screen.

Does anyone have an answer to this frustrating problem??? Many thanks to those that can help me out.

I assume that the battery is fully charged.

I can only suggest that you try a Hard Reset.

Good luck !

I recently read a post about the same symptoms and the fellow resolved
accidently by pressing all the action keys in random order then a soft reset.
I have not needed to try that but that's what he posted.

Thanks for the replies. Apparently the Hard Reset had been done by the kids. So, I have the latest restore running right now. I will have to update a couple programs as the last backup was done week ago and I had updated 2 programs and install a new program since.
