Exchange

I'm using WM03 on my X5, I keep trying to get the mail to sync with my company exchange server in Baton Rouge. My coworker has a brand new Black Jack, it uses the latest Windows Mobile (7 I believe) I have the same settings he has in the mail client, and his works while mine doesn't. With my wireless card in, and connected, when I load the mail client, I hit accounts, the hit connect, it ask's for my username and password, I comply, then it says connecting.... For about 3 minutes then say's "no messages" So I log in to exchange from a computer, and I got 15 Emails...

Let me know what you think... Please.

Matt

Your X5 Messaging software might have a limit on the size of email you can get. it might not be compatible also as the X5 has older messaging program and no hand shake happen between your device and the server. I would also try to put your fully qualify ID (meaning DomainName\UserID). This is all I can think of right now.

I've done all that frenchie, I can recieve attachments from my Gmail account that are 3 or 4 megs, so the little text emails I get from work that tell me what computers I need to fix, are certainly not to big.

I found out what the problem was actually. The X5 running Windows Mobile does not sync with Exchange servers. They only coonect with POP3 or IMAP, so I am in the proccess of getting an address that works.

Thanx
