Basic questions / new to x5

I'm new to both the site and Windows Mobile. I recently picked up an x5 advanced and after going over various sites and info I wanted to shoot off a few questions. My x5 is currently running 4.20.1081 build 13100 / ROM version A05 (07170300EN) - from what I have gathered this is Windows Mobile 2003.

1) Is this the most current ROM for the x5 advance
2) Is it possible to upgrade to WM2003SE or WM5 on this device?
3) Could you guys list off some cool share/freeware for me to test out? (productivity, games, utils - no networking stuff needed)

1) Yes
2) No (Dell will not be providing any more updates for this device. theoretically someone could make a ROM image for the X5 with these more recent OSes but there is little chance anyone will bother.)
3) I'll let other users provide these.

There are a lot of applications that you can install. It will also depend on what you wnat to use the device for, if you have any special needs for work or play.
