X5 Sitecom Bluetooth CF Card Woes
Hey all,
A friend of mine noticed I was playing with my X51v, and so gave me his X5 so that I could 'fix' a couple of issues he was having.
After battling with the internet, I resolved his wifi card issue, and after prodding TomTom, I resolved his GPS issue, however one issue still remains.
He has a Bluetooth CF Card, made by Sitecom (model number CN-501).
Simply put, it don't work. I've grabbed the latest PPC2003 drivers from Sitecom's site, and they don't want to install in the Main Memory (they give the error that one of the files in the Windows dir is already in use and so can't be overwritten, which causes the install to fail), and installing anywhere else seems somewhat pointless to me, as on boot, it gives an error saying it can't find the files!!!
My first question is whether or not it's possible to resolve this issue without a 'hard' reset (aka a firmware reflash) as I get the impression he doesn't want to lose anything from his PDA. My second question is whether or not this should work, as the one time I did manage to get the thing to install the driver, it gave me the error that "there was not enough driver memory available to load the drivers for this device" or some such other rubbish.
Has anyone had any joy with these cards in their X5? This one's running WM2002 A04...
Cheers
