GPS Users: What's your favorite map software?

While I'm deciding on the GPS unit I want to buy for my X5, I was curious as to what everyone used for maps? I'm still a little uncertain as to which one runs best on the Axim X5 and is still up to date.
Thanks in advance.

I used an older version of TomTom and it worked great on my X5. I also tried the demo of the Odysey Mobile mapping and it worked good too. When you look at the diferrent software options out there, you need to check to sse if your operating system is supported. I would then take it a step further and go under the vendor forums (if any) and see who else may be running it on your device. If there are some, and they are having issues, then most likely they have posted soemthing for a solution.

My GPS doesn't seem to work with my Axim x5. I used it with my old Jornada and Pocket Streets. I wish I could find something to make it work on my Axim though.

For now, I've been using the Microsoft Mobile Mapping site Live Search and it's pretty smooth as long as you have a wi-fi connection to access where you want to go. You can search a business name, address, whatever and it'll pull a map up for you.

The GPS is the only thing I haven't managed to convert over to my Axim x5. I even got my FM radio CF card and a Veo Photo Traveler cam to work. My wi-fi is a netgear M701 that I used on the old Jornada as well.

I use TomTom on my X50 and Pocket Nav OS 5 on my iPAQ. One is for driving, the other for walking in the hills.

When I'm away in a strange town, I switch to Pocket Streets occasionally.
