I have got double folders in my directory tree on my Axim. In fact the same information is in each folder. The picture may help here, but anyone know if this has happened on yours or why it happens at all.

I've been wondering about this myself, trying to understand the file structure of PPC'02.
If you open active sync explore on the PC, you first see "Mobile Device" with the folders and files that reside in your sync folder (The ones that look like they're root folders in your example). If you open one of those folders, and look at the path info, it says \My Documents\filename. Somehow it's the same folder, but listed in two different path locations.
If you open My Documents, you see the same folders. I don't think they're duplicates ... it just looks that way. This may just be a way for active sync to function, and that twice the space is not really being consumed.

Mike you might be right, but it seems that even with syn it should be listing what is and I used a outside file explorer (may not be any better) just to see if it was really two directories

This seems to be an Axim-only thing. I have both an Axim and a HP 568, but only the Axim shows the "extra" folders when ASync'd.
