Looking further, at the user guide that was linked in that listing, I would also have to say no, the CF card does not support WPA encryption. The user guide only mentions WEP encryption.

I'm pretty sure it is WM03 that does not support WPA, regardless of what the card claims.

Odyssey does support WPA (and many other security protocols). I'm just not sure it will run on WM03 and I haven't been able to find out from their website. You might email their tech support and see (also ask about specific WiFi adapters).

I have Odyssey running WPA on my X30 with WM2003SE.
The X30 doesn't seem to work with AES though, even though Odyssey has a selection for it.

I can't speak for that particular card, but, my Spectec WLAN-11b WiFi card works fine with WPA on my AX running WM2003. I do have to use the drivers from Spectec.

Yes, WM03SE supports WPA while WM03 does not.

kcallahan, your profile says you have an X50 which means you have WM03SE (the X50 never shipped with WM03).

Unfortunately, WM03SE is not available for the X5.

You're right, I've had WM03SE since I received it.

I didn't realize the X5 couldn't be upgraded.

Based on what ikehiker said - No.

Ikehiker is one of the most knowledgeable people on this topic that I know about.

We still are not sure about Odyssey.

Funk software was bought out by (or merged with) Juniper Networks. You should check with their help desk to see if Odyssey on a WM03 device will enable WPA.
