My SYnc Question (Lot of them today)

Conflict resolution...

Ok what setting do I choose if I want the following


If I change a Outlook entry on my PC ... and I want it to get on my Axim

or

If I add entries to my Axim I want it to be on my PC.

There are three settings...

Leave item unresolved
Replace PC wwith Axim
Replace Axim with PC


This doesnt seem to help the above senarios!

Please help, I work on both of my devices.

I suggest "Leave them unresolved". This setting is for when you change the same item on both the Ax and the PC. If you leave them unresolved, and both devices are chaged for the same contact / appointment / etc, You will get a link to unresolved items after the synch. Then for each item that was not resolved, you can choose which item to keep.

Actually, it works quite well.

I am looking at both devices right now (PPC & PC) and there are different dates and tasks on my schedule, yet no unresolved line as you indicated?

I left is as you suggested... any ideas?

as far as i know you need to worry about conflict resolution when you CHANGE an item at BOTH locations. Then, it would ask you which one to keep. As for additions and changes, you get to keep the change whether it be on the PC or on the PPC. Hope this helps.
