Outlook 2002 vs Outlook 2000

I just got the PPC 2003 upgradea nd am trying to decide whether I should upgrade my Outlook 2000 to the Outlook 2002 that Dell sent with the upgrade.

I know that PPC 2003 works with Outlook 2000 (that's what I've been using for the last few days since I upgraded), but is there any reason (PPC related or otherwise) to upgrade to Outlook 2002?

Thanks!

Michael

Here's my two cents to stick with 2000..

Mike-
Perhaps others more in the know can provide better advice, but I'd stick with Outlook 2000 if that's worked for you in the past (heck, I'm still using active sync 3.5, too!!!).
We're still using Outlook 2000 at work (on a Windows 2000 network) since some people had trouble when they went over to 2002. Not sure what the problems were, but for my purposes, 2000 is sufficient.

I wish I stayed with Outlook 2000. When syncing, I'm getting an ldap pop-up now and I don't even have ldap. ;(

Jer,
To get rid of the error message, from outlook 2002 :

Tools/Email account
In 'Directory' : View or Change ... then "Next"
If you have an 'Internet Service Directory" listed here, highlight it and click on remove

Hope it helps

I wouldn't advice upgrading if Outlook 2000 is working okay. I maid the mistake of upgrading when I bought a Toshiba PPC that came w/Outlook 2002. It screwed up the Japanese IME I had installed on Windows 98. The only way I got it back again was to reformat my whole hard drive...not a pleasant experience.
