Axim 5 clip on keyboard operation

I have an early version Axim which I have not used for a while. I have an extending dell keyboard and a clip on keyboard for this but I cannot seem to get either to work. I cannot find the instructions for either keyboard can anyone tell me how to get one or other operational please.

I assume with the clip on you just dock the axim with the keyboard and it should work or is it not that simple.

Thanks in advance

Did you install the drivers for the keyboards? Once you do that you should be able to use them, and there should be icons in program files that let you adjust the options..

You may try 'googling' for info by name of keyboard, model number, etc!

I think I have a driver disk for the clipon, pm me if you need it I can upload it or something, I don't want to get in trouble here but they can't be making the thing anymore anyway, maybe I'll come back and just upload it for anyone who might want it in which case this will seem pretty nonsensical. So if you need it later and I haven't uploaded it and provided a link here, pm me or say in the thread. This is just the kind of thing I would find a need for shortly after I throw it out after having packratted it for 5 years, and I do remember going through that box not long ago.

Snap On Keyboard CD image file

Dell Axim Pocket Pc Snap On Keyboard Driver (CD iso image file)

The whole CD is only 2 megs and there are only a 2 meg setup.exe in the top level and then a 43kb setup.exe in each of 4 languages, or I would have uploaded the individual driver file. So you're SOL on an electronic manual. If you really need it I can upload a scan but it's like 4 tiny pages at 3 x 5. I think it says in 4 languages to connect your axim to your computer and start active sync, run the setup cd, it might say perform a soft reset, and then it either says turn your axim off before attaching the snap on keyboard or it says attach the snap on keyboard.:)

I don't know how long I'm going to have that rapidshare account for, it expires in October, so if people want the CD, now's a good time
