Trouble Syncing XCell Spread Sheet files

All of a sudden, over the past few weeks, I haven't been able to sync Xcell spread sheets from my X5 to my computer. If I change the file on the computer and then sync the file to the X5, it works OK. I'm using a Toshiba notebook computer with Windows XP, Service Pack 3 installed and Microsoft Office/Outlook 2003. I'm wondering if my SP3 or another Microsoft update that I have downloaded is causing the problem. Any help with this problem would be appreciated.
