Mad FLEXWallet

Can anyone help me with FlexWallet? It was working fine and now when I try to open it it doesn't do anything. I have contacted their tech support area and they said do a soft reset on the Axim and it would fix the issue. (Duh! Don't they think that is the first thing I tried?!)

Anyway, if anyone has any offers of advice, I'm open.

Thanks-
James

What exactly do you mean by "it doesn't do anything"? Does it really not do anything or does it open but there are no wallets files?

If it really does nothing, try to locate the executable file in your file manager and run it from there. If it does start but there are no wallets, make sure you didn't delete the data files. The data files are usually in My Documents and are named "something.fwx"

Worried Yeah...I guess I should have explained...

by do nothing, I mean, it throws flexwallet to the title bar and then flips back to whatever I was doing previously. It appears that it is trying to load, but doesn't. I have tried running it from the executable and from the data files. But nothing works.

Thanks for inquiring.

is on the CF/SD card or local? i've had issues like this with some programs and have ended up loading them locally instead of remotely on a card and that usually fixes the problem.

Cool Flexwallet

I have installed my Flexwallet and the data file in the ROM memory. I have had a couple of occassions when the data file was corrupted for some reason while it resided in My Documents in the main memory. Once in awhile, this software gets rather cantankerous such as not accepting the password. In this case, a soft reset worked, but it scared me. The problem mentioned above may require a reinstall. Hope the data file is backed up somewhere. :)

I don't use Flexwallet, but in general, to move a program, you should uninstall a program completely, then reinstall it into the new location. See this tutorial for more details.
