Is there a free alternative to REsco FIle Explorer 2003? Something with pretty much the same functionality...but FREE!

I have an Explorer called Advanced Explorer. It is the last version before it went shareware. It is way better than Resco in my opinion, and evens adds Recycle Bin functionality. The graphics make it look a lot like Windows Explorer. It doesn't have zip, or reg edit, unless you want to buy the latest shareware, but it is Totally Free. I can't find a place to dl the Free version anymore. But I have it. If anyone would like it, please e-mail me at dcf06@earthlink.net and I will attach it and send it back. Tell me also which processor you have, if you do not have an Axim. just e-mail me, and I'll send it sometime. I have to go to school now, so it might be til this afternoon.

I currently use Resco which is very good but doesn't have the recycle bin, which is a big hole in it. I have found Advanced Explorer 1.2 still available from Tucows, I typed it into Google and they are the only site I could find with it still available the rest are now offering the shareware. So anyone needs it let me know and I am also happy to email it.

i eventually found a link to the freeware (ver. 1.2) however...can't find it now

is it just me or is the program a little slow to startup? I'm running ppc2k2 - A03 & sometimes it takes over 5 seconds to open, but once opened it runs fine.

..maybe i'm just spoiled

It does start up kinda slow. It's better than nothing though. Just don't leave the explorer in Windows when you close it down, cuz it does take a noticeable amount of time to load the Windows dir up.
