Adding and removing programs

I'm having difficulty removing the driver for my cf wi-fi card. I've attempted to remove via active sync, as well as remove programs within the device. I've even attempted to remove it using file explorer.

I'm attempting to remove it because I can't connect to to any access points, I'm recieving a 100% signal strength, yet I cannot transmit any data...

Hi Pharoah

It sounds as if the card is working, so before uninstalling it head over the Ike's WiFi Guide and see if that helps you connect.

As for uninstalling, if the driver was installed using AS you should be able to remove it using the same.

What happens when you try to remove it via AS or Remove Programs? Does it do anything at all? Does it leave parts behind? Did you try a soft reset before uninstalling?

Also, there are some utilities that might help with removing programs such as SKTools. Give the demo a try. Be sure to do a backup first though.

The other thing to try is to try reinstalling the drivers, then uninstalling them. Perhaps there was some corruption in your original installation.
