Need help with wireless internet connection?

I just purchased a used Axim x5. I want to tether it to my cell phone so I can surf with it, but so far I can't even connect the Axim to my home wireless network. Any help or direction is greatly appreciated.

Hopefully you already know this, but one point that may save you some searching through the FAQs psionandy posted, the X5 does not have built-in wireless (neither WiFi nor Bluetooth) so you'll need a CF adapter for either of these technologies (note the 'CF' is in bold because that is the only option. The sd slot on the X5 is only able to use memory cards).
