My axim will be arriving very shortly, and I work on campus. Well, for my job, we're all connected to Exchange, and there is a web access site but I've heard that doesn't work with PPC IE, so I'm hoping that Outlook on the PPC can sync with the Exchange servers... Is this a possibility?

Outlook on the PPC is a combination of the Calender, PIE (Pocket Internet Explorer), Contacts, and Tasks List. There is no seperate "Outlook" On the PPC.

If there is an MIS server then you can sync with it. You MAY be able to just retrieve mail off of it with a few different VPN Clients that also have to be loaded on to the server. They are pricey for an Individual too.

I treat OWA like it's a POP3 and it works albeit not as well as I would like it to. OWA with PIE doesn't work well at all either. I use the Inbox/settings area to set up email as if it were a POP3.

Let me know if you need more info!

OWA= Outlook Web Access
PIE - Pocket Internet Explorer

I can't get Pocket PC to sync to my exchange server. Like Frank was suggesting - there are otherways to get your mail - although it isn't pretty. I chose to use POP to access my mail. Yes it wasn't seemless, but it worked.
