Now that I have the Cradle permanently attached to the PC at home while using the EB travel sync cable for work, I find that dust is collecting on and in the cradle. Maybe a residual static charge, don't know. Anybody got an idea for a dust cover?

I do not use a dust cover. I regularly use canned pressures air to clean out the male coupling. I discovered lint from my shirt breast pocket could get caught in the Dell female port and interfer with the sync process.

I live in Frostbite Falls Minnesota and this year we have had a cold snowy winter. The air has dried out and the carpets and I have developed a program deadly static charge. I have to touch the metal lamp on my desk before I cradle the Dell. If I do not I lose my partnership settings in active sync or prgrams not on the SD or CF cards as the static charges ground out through the cradle and the dell.

An old friend suggested an inverted Tupperware Bowl. Suitably sterilized and perhaps painted a pale, translucent blue to enhance that wonderful blue glow.

Now we have the 'invisible writing'. Forced me to do some research. This is what I found:

The Oracle says: Jack Lord has a Michael Rennie number of 2.

Jack Lord was in God's Little Acre (1958) with Aldo Ray
Aldo Ray was in Power, The (1968) with Michael Rennie

Have we seen Mr Klaatu before?

I just put a old cover from a juice mix carton over my cradle. Pretty much anything will usually work to keep too much dust from building up.
