I installed a battery meter that I don't like and want to remove it, but I don't know how. It's a Today plugin like tdlauncher, I've read that there is a folder that is named Today that I can get into and delete the plugin, but I can't find it, is it hidden? How would I bring it into view? Thanks.

Well you should be able to remove it by clicking on the add/remove programs icon under setting.

To disable it if its still showing on the today screen, go to settings thn click the today button, thn click the items tb on the bottom and there is a list of things to show (or not) on the today screen. Uncheck it to get it o not diply on the screen, you might need to do a soft reset at that pooint too.

I do have it disabled, but the add/remove programs will not remove it from my system. I've tried a soft reset too. This is a tricky one.

Is it QuickTasks? I can't rid of that one as it says that a dll is in use or read-only. But if I use file manager the dll isn't there.

Does the app have an uninstaller? I know the app entitled Battery Monitor installs itself within the Today apps and also within the Window\StartUp folder. With that program, I had to use the install option within the app, then soft reset, then remove through add/remove.

Good Luck!

It didn't have an uninstaller with it. It's called PHM Today Meter (it worked fine, I can just do more with Facelift). The guy that made the program has dirrections on how to uninstall the program, something about finding a Today/Items folder, but it doesn't seem to work for the Dell.
