Hard reset ???

Had to buy a new Axim (the old one was run over). Ouch! The new one has the new OS. When I synch'd, a lot of junk on my PC automatically went to the new machine. If I do a hard-reset, will it restore it to where it was when I unpacked it, or will it completely wipe it?
Goal: Get back to a factory status machine, and then selectively reload the new Axim. (Some of the programs seem uncompatible with the new OS). Advice please?

when you hard reset it, it will go back to the way it was when you received it

Everything is wiped, except the OS and the default settings, yes, pretty much as it was from the factory

Thanks, that's good to know. Surprising how much useless stuff you download when you first get Ax. This one needs to just have the stuff I use and enjoy.

LOL, I downloaded a TON of crap that I don't use anymore. Just delete the stuff off of your desktop pc and that won't happen anymore.

ROM updates will stay and anything you installed to Built In Storage will still be there.
