Question Complete Care Warranty?

I find it almost funny, why on earth do some of you not purchase the Complete care warranty when you buy your axims? I've read of some of you running over your axims, dropping them in pools, etc, and having to buy new ones, If you had the complete care warranty, you just call up Dell and get a new unit.... Sorry I just had to ask, I am rather dumbfounded by you that dont purchase that warranty...

Dell didn't tell me about the warranty when I purchased, otherwise I would have. Too late now. From what I've read, it's not available in Florida.

I bought it. If I scratch the screen, will they
a) replace the screen,
b) give me a referb, or
c) give me a NEW unit?

They should just give you a new unit, just say the screen is messed up and damaged to where you have a hard time seeing things clearly... you may have to insist that they give you a new, not a refurbished one though, I've heard of others returning their defective handhelds under the normal warranty and having to ask specifically for a new unit.

Complete care should mean just that, anything happens to the unit, it's either reparied or replace with a new unit. This last post makes me weary about this package. It's too late for me anyway.

Dell have as far as I know always used Refurbished parts. And that includes Axim... You can be lucky and get a brand new one if they dont have an exact matc, but usually they will send out a refurbished one.

But again how many refurbished Axim can there be at this moment...
