"ActiveSync is not responding"??

When i have synced and finished and disconnects, if i then tries to exit Activesync with Switcher bar, it says Activesync isn't responding bla bla bla...., Someone has same problem?

Happens to me. I don't care about it and I just press stop it anyway.

Always happens when I try to close activsync after removing from the stand. It doesn't seem to cause any problems...so far.

Does this happen to everyone, ie is it 'normal' ?

My Axim X5 just started behaving this way too...I've had it for nearly 2 years. Why now?

I have had this problem that you speak of ever since I purchased my X5 in July of 2003, and it has never caused any horrible errors that I have noticed (therefore they must not exist ).

Additionally, I have noticed on iPAQ PPCs that the iTask program shows and exits from many more programs, such as the settings window, which I have never seen on the Switcher bar. Perhaps this is a bug in the Switcher, not an error with ActiveSync itself.

I just can’t fathom how an anachronism such as spinning media could overtake flash-based media for any length of time. Microdrives might be cheaper at present, but I don’t think they will remain so for long. Consider also, that flash memory was prohibitively expensive beyond the 128MB range a mere five years ago, and yet here it is, dropping drastically in price while Microdrives haven’t changed overmuch in comparison (correct me if I’m wrong).
