Duplicate calendar entries (Intellisync & Groupwise 6.5)

All my calendar entries are duplicated on my Axim's calendar. I use intellisync and Groupwise 6.5. Not sure why this happened, but I remember it happening once a long time ago and I had to manually delete all the duplicates. Is there an easier way? I tried re-syncing with different options to no avail.

ANY help would be greatly appreciated. My appointments are not duplicated on my desktop, only on my PDA :rolling:

can't you go into Options in Activesync and for this one time time select 'Rules' under conflict resolution pick 'Replace item on device'

If that works then set it back to the previous setting. [Note-- I use 'Replace item on computer' because I enter calendar, etc on the Ax.]

Since I am at work, I use intellisync to sync to Groupwise. I was looking through Intellisync for similar options but cannot find anything besides "transfer" items which I messed with but still was not able to get them off :(

I read your plea [message] assuming you had Activesync. So to answer your question.

I keep getting told you must have Activesync to 'tie' to the PPC. Intellisync bridges the gap between GW and Activesync.

Went out to the Pumatech website just now and you are right, they say GW is supported. You just left me in the dust. Now I'd be interested in your solution to the problem.

Thought about your dilema some more.
There was a time before I switched desktop PCs when I had to set up the configuration of Intellisync. One could choose the sync direction [i.e., choose the master] Can't you set your Intellisync config??

Pumatech aptly named some of their history files: ".ish".

Maybe this is why I bought a backup program called Sunnysoft Backup Manager. I have it do a daily backup of the data files and registry to my SD card.

Can we count these as character building?

These have always been a problem with some of the Groupwise syncing solutions. I sync between an Axim, two notebooks, and a Palm T3.

There is a great Palm program called Undupe that I use to delete duplicates. I purchased it for eight dollars over the internet. That's my solution, but I am sure that are other programs that could do the trick under Pocket PC/Win CE.
