Order Status

Ordered my Axim 300 on Monday, Dell says it will be shipped before or on Feb 17th and I got standard 5-8 days. Does anyone know if that means it will be shipped by the 17th, or I should receive it by then?! When it's shipped, do you know if it will get a tracking # that I can see when it should be at my doorstep!? Thanks! -Shawn

I ordered mine on Jan 19 with an expected delivery date of February 10. A UPS Tracking number showed up for the first time today (February 5) at Order Status at 3:42 PM. Checked the UPS tracking number and it said that attempted delivery was made this afternoon at my house at 12:58 PM but no one was home to accept the package. I got on the phone immediately to see if I could get it when the truck came back in to the distribution center. UPS was very helpful and told me YES and someone would call me within an hour to tell me when to come pick it up. They also gave me driving directions. True to their word someone call and said to come get it at 7:15 PM at the guard shack at the entrance. At 7:15 PM the driver was there with the package for me to sign and by 7:18 PM, I was on the way home to begin the 4 hour charging ceremony. All this saved another day of waiting for the 2nd attempt.

So in answer to your question, Mine came in 5 calendars days ahead of the original projection. Soo, keep a sharp look out for it at the Dell website http://www.dell4me.com and when the tracking number shows up it worth its weight in gold for tracking and changing the delivery or in my case the pick up location.

Ordered 1/25/03. In Transit as of 2/5/03 at 2PM. Shows shipped via FEDEX as of this evening 2/5/03 with estimated delivery of 2/7/03.

Pre-production, Dell is waiting for parts to arrive,

Order date 3/2/2003
ETA 24/2/2003

That's fooking 3 weeks

Dells notification system does not work too well, so only use it as a guide, and dont trust anything until you actually get your tracking number. Then you can actually go to the ups/fedex website and get current upto date information.

Well, mine is FINALLY listed as SHIPPED.. I originally ordered it on the 15th.. it has been a LLOOONNGGG couple of weeks.. wonder how long it will take to get here, since Dell is only 40 minutes from my house.. hahahaha

If it's shipped, you can track it at UPS with your order number. I think they call it something else, but if you look at the bottom of the screen you can see where to put it, plus your zip code and they can find it from there. Don't wait for Dell, I got my shipping email after UPS delivered it!

They came to my house today when nobody was home :( We were going to pick it up at the UPS station, but online it said that the earliest we could pick it up would be tomorrow. So i'm going to have to wait another day....

I have already done that.. it left Nashville about 2 hours ago, and it is a 40min drive here..

UNFORTUNATELY.. it will have to be delivered to the local sub-station, and should probably come tommorrow.. hopefully before I leave for work....

There is the possibility if it is going to a local station, to call them and ask them to hold it there for you to pick it up....

Yeah.. I am thinking about that, if it doesn't show up by the time I leave for work....
