Hi guys...

I own a Canon camera which has a 64MB Sandisk CF. If I take pictures in the camera, will I be able to take the falsh card, plug it in the Axim and see the pictures right then, or do I need to go trhough the PC first?

Thanks,

Carlitos

I've done exactly what you have alsked already! I even have the free picture viewer that came on the Dell CD installed, and the pictures look great. Give it a try...

It worked with my Nikon also, but since the jpegs were two folders deep, I had to explore them to bring them forth. Browse CF card (w/ Resco PV) didn't see them initially.

Anyone
How about another Camera to Axim question. I have an Olympus digital D-510 and unfortunately it uses SmartMedia memory cards instead of SD or CF. Is there any adapter or way to read this memory directly at the Axim without going through a PC. Thanks.

Aximtoo,

Read this review here on Aximsite:

http://www.aximsite.com/modules.php?op=mod...owcontent&id=19

The review is for a 4-in-1 card reader that will read SmartMedia cards into the Ax.

If you want something a little smaller, this adapter is for just the Smart Media to Compact Flash. For Smart Media cards up to 128MB only.
