Restoring backup and dup entries

I had to restore a backup from AS and upon resynching, had duplicate entries in Outlook Calendar. Decided to restore my backup from my SD card (kinda anal) and the same thing happened. Eventually, I performed a hard reset and reinstalled everything. Is there an easier way to restore a backup without all the dups???

Thanks for any help.

You should be able to avoid it by setting the options properly but I don't remember exactly what settings you need to use. On the other hand, there's a free program Outlook Duplicate Remover that's supposed to remove the duplicates. Haven't tried it personally (yet) but I've heard it works.

I tried using this program and it didn't work for me. I can't remember what the error message was but it didn't work. Thanks anyway.
